Kooma Nation Eco Spa and Cultural Center | Kooma

This ongoing pro-bono job is for the Kooma Nation
Indigenous Community of QLD, not far from Cunnamulla.
The extensive briefing process resulted in two main aims for
the project; firstly, to build a local industry, by means of
an Eco tourism program and use, based around the on site,
natural hot springs, and appreciation of natural environment
and local Indigenous culture and secondly to create a place to
house and protect Kooma culture and serve as a teaching and
educating place for Kooma people.
The current design makes use of second hand building
materials and sheds, along with resources and items found
on the land.
