Warehouse offices | Footscray
status: under development
The Footscray Office Development project involves the
development of a currently underutillised commercial
warehouse on the edge of the docklands.
2000m2 us being added to over two levels to the roof of the
2 storey office building and 1000m2 of ground floor
warehouse space is being partially converted into car
parking and split level office space. Splinter Society's
proposal involves carving out a multi storey northern atrium
cavity which will operate as an organic, micro climate
feeding the building's energy systems. As well as providing
an external ampitheatre and a green space which the office
wraps around over five levels.
This project is currently under development.
